Recently we have been involved with a room dressing project centred around a deep blue feature wall that we are really happy with and would love to share the results with you. This was planned, printed, framed and fitted by our Room Dressing team for just £250.
Our client sent us some pictures of a room they had painted in a shade of blue that they fell in love with, however they could not find the time to adequately find art that perfectly fit the space.
Luckily, they reached out to us and we were glad to help- They sent us a few pictures of their room so we could see the size of the room and how the light in the room came in from any windows, lamps and lights.
Armed with this knowledge we started our search for art to dress the room: We first needed to get an eye for what genre our client liked so we selected multiple pieces of art work from several genres such as, pop art, classical, landscape and showed them to our client. They eventually settled on abstract.
We then sourced many more images within the abstract genre to show our client, including a set of amazing abstract desert landscapes (pictured above) which our client selected.
These abstracts are particularly great for the room as they subtlety hint to the deep blue of the wall while also bringing in their own colours to make them stand out in the room.
With the other walls we added another piece that did not distract from the feature wall but still was interesting and made the most of the space.
Again we looked at the space and gave several options for genre and image to the client. They then decided on this striking ink number (pictured on the right) which really plays well with the grey of the sofa and the white of the wall while still standing out.
Once the art work was selected we made real sized paper prints of the images and let our clients place them on the room and confirm they love them.
Then it was over to our professional printing and framing tool to hand print, stretch and frame each canvas and poster. Ensuring only the best quality.
Once we had our finished products, we showed them to our clients who loved them and even helped them professionally fit their new artwork on the walls to help them make there art look its best and complete the room dressing.
